Orcs of The Blue Eyed Barbarian
Note: The orcs in our universe are not gray or green, no pointed ears. They do have tusks, which can be made from Hand-Mold-able Plastic - Low Temperature Thermoplastic which is available on line, or just some plastic vampire teeth.
- Remember it could very well be HOT the day of shooting so take your comfort into consideration, and please bring a water bottle, I will bring a 5 gal water jug for you to refill from.
- Long wigs, perhaps with braids and feathers, (I have some feathers I will bring along) beads, etc. head gear can be head band or.... please remember to keep everything earth tones, no reds or blues for the orcs, brown, tan, burnt orange, black are all great!
- Boots would be great, use raggy material to trim the tops, make sure they are comfortable. Please no tennis shoes unless you plan to spray paint them brown top to bottom, white soles will look crappy on camera. Comfort should also be a consideration.

- belts and bits of old leather purses are great for layering, also burlap strips, and old brown, black or tan sweat shirt material cut into jagged strips with the inside of the material showing look good on camera.
- Remember layering is the key to an orcish look, they tend to take what they kill and add it to their outfit as a sign of their prowess, and also as potential snacks for later....
Bandits of The Blue Eyed Barbarian
The Bandits are Human, their costumes are comprised of medieval style clothing, think gypsy/pirate. Colors must be limited to deep reds, mid to dark blue, greens and "dirty" white.
- Remember it could very well be HOT the day of shooting so take your comfort into consideration, and please bring a water bottle, I will bring a 5 gal water jug for you to refill from.
- Over-sized men's shirts can easily be transformed into medieval "poet" type shirts by cutting the pointed piece from the main collar and removing the buttons, sew the bottom front closed and using Grommets or button holes to lace the top. cut off the cuffs and lace them too.
- These costumes should be battle worn, the Humans have been battling the orcs for generations, their clothes will be shabby at best, dirty looking and anything but fancy.
- boots are preferred but you can make up some boot tops from old boots or purses from the thrift store, Please no tennis shoes unless you plan to spray paint them brown top to bottom, white soles will look crappy on camera. Comfort should also be a consideration.
- Jeans or slacks are fine as your shirt, vest etc. should be covering the top of them.
- Solid color cloth for a bandanna on the head will be fine, actual bandannas are not as they will take away the generic look of the costume.
- Decorating your costume with buttons of various sizes and colors would be AWESOME! No color restrictions on Buttons, (you will learn why as the story unfolds.....hee hee hee )
- Rags are Great!! Tattered clothing, torn sleeves etc.!
